How can I help?

There are many ways that you can help and support Hedgehog Rescue
Including, becoming a member and attending our open days.

Below is a list of ways that you can help Hedgehog Rescue,
that won’t cost you a penny! Donating your old towels
or unwanted wool, collecting your old postage stamps or donating us your
old mobile phone, all these things you would probably recycle or put in the bin,
but we can get money for them or use them in our hedgehog hospitals.
Please use the hotspot image above to select an item
e.g. the mobile phone, this will take you strait through to the information you need about donating that kind of item.

Take care!
One of the best ways you can help Hedgehog Rescue is to drive carefully
and be animal friendly in your garden.

Postage Stamps:

Collecting your old postage stamps is a good and very easy way to help us
raise funds at little or no cost to you.

Tear the stamps off your envelopes carefully leaving a gap around the edge
to ensure the stamp remains intact. Once you have collected a quantity
of stamps please send them in a stamped addressed envelope to
hedgehog rescue or drop them off in person to one of our rescue centres.

While posting your stamps to us please check the weight and thickness
of the package as we have had some stamps donations undelivered due to
insufficient payment at the post office.

Please click here to find out where to post or drop off your stamp donations.

If you require further information about collecting or donating stamps
please contact us at: info@hedgehogrescueonline.org.uk

Towels

We use huge numbers of towels ever day to wrap and keep warm
the hedgehogs in our units. As you can imagine hedgehogs don’t
take much care of their towels so subsequently
they get washed a lot and have a short useable life.

If you have any old towels, which you no longer wish to use in your home,
please think of us rather than the fabric bank!

Please click here to find out where to drop off your unwanted towels.

If you require further information about donating your unwanted towels
please contact us at: info@hedgehogrescueonline.org.uk

Unwanted Wool:

Any unwanted balls of wool or knitting machine wool on cones would
be greatly appreciated, as we have volunteers who kindly knit anything
from jumpers to tea cosy’s which are sold on Wally Wymer’s stall at the
Bure Valley Railway Station, Aylsham.

Please click here to find out where to post or drop off any unwanted wool.

If you require further information about donating wool
please contact us at: info@hedgehogrescueonline.org.uk

Mobile Phones

Most of us have one, some of us have a draw full, old mobile phones
and their chargers. So please make room in your draws and cupboards
and help us raise money.

If you wish to donate us your old mobile phone please ensure that the SIM
card is removed as for security reasons any SIM cards found in phones
will be destroyed.

Please also consider while donating your mobile phone adding any accessories
such as chargers, instructions, earphones etc that you no longer require.

Please click here to find out where to post or drop off your old mobile.

If you require further information about donating your old mobile
