If you find a hedgehog out during the day there is always something
wrong
even if it does not look ill or injured.
Catch the hedgehog and wrap it up in an old jumper or towel to keep it warm,
being wary of those spines.
Make sure that it can still move and breathe easily within the towel.
Then put it in a cardboard box to stop it running off.
Once you have done this contact your local hedgehog rescue centre or vet.
For a map showing the North Norfolk hedgehog rescue centres look below.
If you want to feed it, you can give it cat or dog food but not a
fish variety nor milk or bread. Also make sure it has water to drink.
This information is the same if you find any obviously injured or ill hedgehogs.
